Wowwwww =OI need a quad for like £1k or a wee bit over or under.So far I have looked at: Blaster Warrior A few older utilitys Anyone got any other suggestions?

Lol was hoping you would reply.
Just for fun really, or if it was a utility, would use it for fun and working. 2 or 4 Wheel drive. Would like it to be fast-ish and be a decent size. Anything above 300cc if utility, if sports, anything over 200cc. honda, yamaha, kawasaki, polaris, suzuki. or any other decent makes. |

the trailblazer is a nice little quad, grae will be able to tell you if there is any major probs with it, but apart from servicing and tyres i have not heard anything bad about them. | ||||||

Yfm350 or 450 also known as kodiak and newer ones called grizzly, 350 honda was current model uptill 2007? 250 is still in production..... Yamaha's are probably best for what you're needing or the honda's. the 250 honda is great fun..... | ||||||

bit of advice about the sportsmans, if you have the chance to get one go for one that is a 2003 model or under. don't go for anything 2004 onwards as the genral idea i get off people on american forums who have them is that 2003 and under are good but 2004 and upwards are crap. | ||||||

mine is a 1999 ex farm one, still going strong and starts on button. paid £2250 for mine but they also do a 325 version and also the popo magnum is a very good one. i know where there is one going.
mine has the 500cc engine in it with High/low/neutral/reverse auto box and 4x4 on switch and also heavy duty tow hook 
i do like it a lot as the ride is extremely comfy and i would happily do very long rides safe in the knowledge that i know that i will be able to walk when i get off the bike instead of having to be helped like my first chinky quad did!! if you do get offered one you can easily tell just by the genral look and the drive if there is anything wrong and the frame is extremely strong and the engine's are bullet proof, it's basically a honda but has a 4x4 system that works very well:lol:

i have seen some go for £1000 some lower then that but 99% of the time the price reflects the condition, i would advise you to look for a polaris sportsman 325, i have not driven one before so i don't now about performance but i can tell you know they don't do racing but a good one normally goes around £1400-1700 and thats for a fair to good one. like i said mine cost £2250 and the tyres were bald, plastics scratched and stickers worn but still in good mechanical condition. |

never had a problem with the belt, frame is still perfect even after the rolls, drive system broke because i was being a twat, and when has my engine ever caught fire!! only an idiot could set the engine alight james, i thought you would have known that!!

this does not look too bad, i know it is a 2005 but i have not heard anything bad about the magnum's only thing that worrys me is that it has 5000 mile on the clock, my quad has just done 5000 mile and thats 9 years old!! this one was new in 2005.

you have backed your self into your own trap there james, the reason why polaris never change there shape is because they like to spend more money on quality parts and bring out bigger engine's. by the way the biggest engoine polaris make is a 800cc efi engine, james what is the biggest engine honda make again??
