a little over £400. and another £200 for delivery!!

James

WELLZY

WELLZY

James

grae

Artic cat have a good system on the rear of their bikes, just a square receiver hitch, slide a piece of box section in it, bolt through, bobs your mothers long lost uncle, put whatever you like on it, adapt the same idea for the front..... Smile

still trying to find this pure polaris split charge relay system i need for a dual battery.
grae

Buy a split charge system off ebay, caravan one, same thing but much cheapness.....
James

what size battery are you going to add and where you gonna put it?
WELLZY

same size as one i have in there now so i have two the same size, there is a storage box under my seat where i can easily fit the split chrage, battery and road legal kit with plenty of space left for other bits.

Shocked  Shocked find one for me please!! Laughing
grae

Are you using the battery holder off a diesel? they have 2 batterys....
WELLZY

no, mine petrol so still has the same set up one battery holder. i don't want to loose the box but will be easy to sort out place for it within the box. i'll get some pics now.
grae

Diesel one sits tucked under left hand wheel arch well out of the way, smaller battery though i think....
James

whats wrong with kwaks grae?
WELLZY

petrol ones are under the wheel arce as well, but the twin battery sits were my storage box is under my seat.
grae

Nothing, if you've got deep pockets and endless patience to wait while they're getting fixed.... out of the major quad manufacturers, ie honda yamaha suzuki polaris bombardier etc etc i would say they're trailing last for their reliability and build quality....
James

i had a kwak bike, it needed a lot of engine rebuilds but theres 2 stroke crossers for you... i always thought that kwak were quite far up in the reliabilty chain, with suzuki's been last
WELLZY

he's got a point, don't see many kasas around these days.
James

i only see those ugly 250 utility ones
grae

Ebay item no  130256538473 12v split charge relay system, i dare say if you mooch on their long enough you'll find a cheaper one....

James

grae

The multimount systems are good, especially if its the kind of thing you need.

You dont need to pay £400-£600 for them! Montana Jacks also do a nice system...

I got a 2" hitch receiver on the back of my Grizz, cost me something like £30 from the states. There are loads of places sell them for not a great deal of cash...

At the end of the day, how many times do yuo need to winch out backwards? I have never had to!

Anyway back to the bracket!!!

My winch works perfect where it is ????????
Why change????????????????? Confused
WELLZY

incase you get stuck and the only winching point is behind you i guess.
Rob

also keeps the winch out of the mud on the front, its higher up. And as wellzy said gives you a rear option without having to buy another winch.

Like I said, how many times you been stuck and needed to winch from the rear Rolling Eyes  Rolling Eyes
