Weston Beach Race 11th & 12th OctoberAnyone else going ?? We could meet up there if so .....
I'm going over for the main race on the Sunday with the lads. It'll mean an early start for us to get their in time but well worth it - even just for the trade stands ...

i was going up on the friday camp over then home after the quad race on saturday but not sure if i can go now

the corrieyairack pass is an old military road on the west coast of scotland, Passing fort william.... quite popular with 4x4s and quadders, you get some of those hiker lot as well but just run over them, moaning bastards....

You can only enter from the laggan end, the fort augustus end has a locked gate and barriers up. It has a classification as a public right of way, but i think the land owner is trying to change that by closing his end, as under scottish law its only a public right of way if its a road that can be used, putting barriers up obviously prevents use so he can claim it back and prevent all access. tight git!

does that mean yo cant get out at the fort agustus end,,,,you would have to go back to the laggan end to get out ??????

You'd have to get an ordnance survey map of the area and see if there's any access points along the route.... or try googling it, the land rover boys go up there so might have maps etc.....

im not sure the area,,,but was told from a can am rep there should be one opening up near me in the west coast in the next couple of months...could be an established dealer taking on there stuff...was hoping yuilles maybe

I agree- great day out and worth the drive over . Lots of trade stands so got some great bargains and the race was good too. Had sit a a new Honda 700XX which is a beast and the latest Raptor with the marbled plastics looks the nuts!! Saw some familiar faces too
I will post some video up on You Tube in the day or so .
