Are you sure Big jim, I have been told that anything other than Japanese or American is crap and should be avoided ?
Is the Grizzler a good quad ?

dont listen to jim, he probibly thinks your another fake member lol. if you want long lasting- yamaha if you want even longer lasting - honda if owned my honda from second hand for almost a year now and it has never had to go into the garage or have new parts on.

No quite true. There's also good Taiwanese makes worth considering ; ie: Kymco and Adly who both make stuff for Honda and Suzuki under licence anyway
Well made and good value .
Otherwise avoid other "delicate" value makes with components that only last 5 minutes.

The Can Am engine is considerably more powerful than the yam 700, its a V twin Rotax for a start, a 700cc single will not match that, er God bless .

Really? I wouldn't have one given, and i've fixed yamaha's and can am's, nice to look at, dear to fix, very little extra's for them, hardly any dealers and more importantly to the average joe, too f##king dear.

I have been offered a new (last years model) 2008 plate Outlander SWB 800cc for £6500 OTR and it is homologated, what would the Yam and the neccsessary SVA conversion etc for road use cost ?

no use thinking of the yammi if you can get the can-am for that kind of cash....better bike all round and all done in the factory
