Try some of the farm insurance places, quad is same as everything else on road, must have insurance or you'll get your collar felt by the long arm of the law..... Why would you want to go from plg to agri anyway, don't you mean the other way round? insurance will be expensive for you if you can get it.

Basically all you need to do is stick a number plate and a tax disc on it then, all the lighting stuff and tyres doesn't apply to agri use, but you can only use it on the road between two fields that you own or rent.... or know the guy that does that would say you DO to the fuzz Laughing insure it in your dads name and put you down as a named driver, cheapest option....

it's about 3 or 4 miles, it's really not worth it.

Make friends with farmers all over the UK

I feel a new website is needed...

"Farmersaroundtheworld.co.uk"

You will be able to ride from field to field all over the country, you could ride to Rusper, but it would take you 2 weeks to do it!!
